I am an Associate Group Leader at MIT Lincoln Laboratory leading teams to work on high impact next generation airborne backbone and airborne tactical networks. Specifically, my research focuses on radio-aware routing which leverages link layer information at the network layer to perform advanced MANET routing in airborne networks and is heavily focused on systems architecture, prototyping, and field testing of developed technologies. Recently, my team and i have also been novel information dissemination techniques for future swarm UAV networks. Prior to coming on staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, I was a NSF IGERT Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (ECSE) at Rensselaer Polytechic Institute (RPI) working with Prof. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman and Prof. Partha Dutta on sef-organizing, geography aware wireless mesh and adhoc networks in the Radio Frequency (RF), Free Space Optics (FSO), and Terahertz FSO domains.
